About Top Youth Motivational Speaker Eddie Cortés
  • Over 20 Years of Experience
  • Captivating Humor & Storytelling
  • Author of “I’m Possible”

For the past 20 years, Eddie Cortés has empowered students to build resilience, positive self-worth, and the confidence to chase their dreams.

This mission has become personal for Eddie, as it stems from his own life-altering experience.

As a middle schooler, Eddie’s dream of playing Major League Baseball for the New York Yankees came crashing down when his cousin told him he wasn’t “big enough, fast enough, or talented enough” to make it. This moment crushed Eddie’s self-worth, and he stopped believing in himself, which affected his grades, relationships, and choices. He stopped dreaming.

Eddie now wants to help students understand that they are “braver than they believe, stronger than they seem, smarter than they think”, and worthy of their dreams. He’s had the privilege to partner with public and private schools across the United States to share his message in an interactive school assembly, I’M POSSIBLE, which helps students nurture a positive self-view and build resilience to overcome disappointment, failure, and obstacles.

Eddie’s enthusiasm and passion for his mission are contagious. His ability to captivate elementary and middle school students with humor and storytelling draws them to the edge of their seats. His fun and thought-provoking approach challenges every student to do hard things and chase their dreams.

Eddie has a bachelor’s degree in leadership, loves Chinese food, and is a CrossFit enthusiast. When he’s not speaking, Eddie is making life-long memories with his wife and daughter.

I'm Possible School Assembly: Empowering Students to Build Resilience and Self-worth

Topics: Resilience, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Motivation & Inspiration
Audiences: Grade K-8 Students

Eddie will help students realize that their potential (what they can do) is far greater than their limitations (what they can’t do)!

He uses humor, thought-provoking stories, and object lessons to teach elementary and middle school students to build resilience.

By developing resilience, your students will be more likely to have a positive self-worth, overcome failure, and achieve better academic results. Your students will be empowered to do hard things and chase their dreams because they are “braver than they believe, stronger than they seem, and smarter than they think.”

Eddie Cortés’ school assembly will help your students develop the skills they need to become more resilient, and in turn, be more successful. He will teach them that even though life can be hard, they have the strength, intelligence, and courage to do hard things, reach their goals, and make their dreams come true.

Give your students the skills they need to become resilient and successful learners.
