On September 11th, 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to be the guest speaker at Bailey Elementary School in my home state, Florida. What a day it was, filled with lessons on resilience and a powerful message that I can’t wait to share with you.
Resilience: The Key to Chasing Dreams
The spotlight of the day was resilience, a quality that’s absolutely vital when it comes to pursuing our dreams. I wanted these elementary students to understand that chasing their dreams might involve doing hard things that seem impossible at first. But here’s the magic – on the other side of those hard things lies the im.possible. It’s all about embracing challenges with the belief that “I can do hard things.”

The theme of the day was all about resilience. I firmly believe that instilling resilience in young minds is one of the most important gifts we can offer them. It’s like giving them the key to unlock their full potential and chase their dreams fearlessly.

The theme of presentation is all about resilience. It’s amazing how this simple word can hold such profound meaning, especially for young minds on the cusp of discovering their potential. My goal was to empower these middle school students with the mindset and tools they need to chase their dreams relentlessly.

Last week, I had the privilege of being the motivational youth speaker at Wilson Elementary School. It was an incredible experience empowering approximately 300 enthusiastic elementary school students and sharing valuable insights about resilience in the pursuit of their dreams. During my presentation, there was a memorable moment that truly highlighted the impact of resilience on these young minds.
A Memorable Moment of Understanding
As I began sharing a personal story about giving up on my dream of becoming a Major League Baseball player for the New York Yankees, a student couldn’t contain their excitement and shouted, “Noooooo, you never have to give up!” It was a heartwarming moment because it demonstrated that the students had wholeheartedly grasped the message from the first part of my presentation.
Empowering Digital Citizenship Through Motivational Youth Speaker Eddie Cortes

As a motivational youth speaker, I had the incredible opportunity to address around 600 students at Boaz Middle School. The focus of my talk was on fostering good digital citizenship, a vital aspect of navigating the online world responsibly and positively.
Understanding Truth in the Digital Age
During the school assembly program, we delved into the significance of being mindful online consumers and contributors. It’s crucial to differentiate between what’s true, false, and mere rumors on the internet. Equipping students with the ability to critically evaluate information is essential in an era where the online landscape is often flooded with misinformation.
